Introduction:
In a world where many elderly citizens are forgotten, neglected, or left to battle loneliness and vulnerability on their own, EHOPAEL Int’l. Foundation stands as a sanctuary of hope, dignity, compassion, and restoration.
EHOPAEL Int’l. Foundation was founded by Mrs. Josephine Echaka Gabriel, a deeply compassionate and visionary woman whose lifelong love and concern for the elderly gave birth to this noble mission. From a very young age, she demonstrated an uncommon sense of empathy and kindness toward vulnerable people in society. As a child, she frequently visited a lepers’ colony where she offered water and small acts of care to those who had been abandoned by society. She also devoted time to assisting an elderly woman in her community—helping her fetch firewood, perform daily chores, and ensuring she was not left alone in her struggles.
These early experiences planted the seed of compassion that continued to grow within her heart. Her passion for caring for the elderly remained strong throughout her life, eventually inspiring her to establish a foundation dedicated to giving dignity, love, and support to senior citizens. Even in caring for her own parents in their old age, she demonstrated the deep commitment that later became the driving force behind EHOPAEL Int’l. Foundation.
EHOPAEL Int’l. Foundation is a dedicated Home for Senior Citizens and an advocacy center for the protection and welfare of the elderly and other vulnerable individuals. The foundation is committed to defending the rights of senior citizens, caring for victims of family violence, and restoring hope to those who feel abandoned, neglected, or forgotten by society.
We believe that aging should never mean abandonment, neglect, or isolation. Growing older should be accompanied by honor, respect, protection, and love. Every elderly person deserves to live their later years with dignity, comfort, and a sense of belonging.
